Item Conocimiento materno sobre alimentación complementaria y anemia ferropénica en niños de 6 a 24 meses del P.S. Cañafisto en la provincia de Chota durante el 2021.(Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Chota, 2022-10-14) Sánchez Rojas, Thalía; Oblitas Gonzales, AnibalEl estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación que existe entre nivel de conocimiento materno sobre alimentación complementaria y anemia ferropénica en niños de 6 a 24 meses del puesto de salud de Cañafisto –Chota, 2021; investigación de enfoque cuantitativo, nivel relacional y diseño no experimental, ejecutado con 37 madres. Se utilizó un cuestionario para determinar el nivel de conocimiento materno y una ficha de observación para identificar la presencia de anemia en niños. Encontrándose que: las características maternas más frecuentes incluyen las edades de entre 18 y 29 años, con un 43,2%; el 91,9% fueron ser casadas o convivientes; el 73% eran católicas; el 37,8% contaban con instrucción primaria y el 73% eran beneficiarias de al menos un programa social. Según el nivel de conocimientos, 59,5% de las madres evidenciaron un conocimiento medio sobre alimentación complementaria, el 32,4% bajo y el 8,1% alto; en tanto, el 13,5% de los niños presentaron anemia ferropénica. Conclusión: No existe relación estadística significativa entre nivel de conocimiento materno sobre alimentación complementaria y anemia ferropénica en niños de 6 a 24 meses.Item Determinantes asociados a la anemia ferropénica en los niños de 6 a 35 meses atendidos en el Centro de Salud San Antonio, Bambamarca 2023.(Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Chota, 2023-07-13) Díaz Medina, Keila Milene; Pérez Guerrero, Merly Yudith; Oblitas Gonzáles, AnibalEl estudio tuvo como objetivo determinar los determinantes asociados a la anemia ferropénica en los niños de 6 a 35 meses atendidos en el Centro de Salud San Antonio de Bambamarca, 2023; estudio relacional, no experimental y transversal; desarrollado con 35 niños y sus madres. Las técnicas utilizadas fueron el análisis documental de las historias clínicas y la encuesta; los instrumentos incluyeron una guía de interpretación diagnóstica para recabar información sobre anemia y un cuestionario para identificar sus determinantes asociados. Resultados: 57,1% de los niños fueron varones y 42,9% mujeres; 48,6% tenían de 12 a 23 meses, 34,3% de 24 a 35 meses y 17,1% de 6 a 11 meses; 88,6% presentaron anemia leve y 11,4% anemia moderada. El promedio de anemia leve según determinantes afectó al 66,6% de los niños con determinantes perinatales, al 32,1% con determinantes de lactancia materna; y al 49,4% de niños con determinantes de alimentación complementaria. Conclusiones: los determinantes que se asociaron a la anemia ferropénica, el bajo peso al nacer, el tener más de dos hijos, el no haber sido tamizado para descartar anemia durante la gestación, la falta de tamizaje de anemia en el recién nacido, la prematuridad (determinantes perinatales); la ausencia de lactancia materna exclusiva (determinantes de lactancia materna); la no ingesta de pescado, sangrecita, carnes rojas, menestras y el no recibir información nutricional (determinantes de alimentación complementaria).
